Located in Oslo, Halden or Paris, the Project Management group consists of approx.. 50 experienced and diverse project managers. Our team is responsible for running 25+ projects for Interconnectors, Offshore Wind, Power From Shore and Inspection, Maintenance and Repair. For this position, the workplace is in Oslo or Halden and you will be reporting to the Portfolio Director responsible for your project.

 

 

GETTING A FLYING START

 

To succeed in the Project Operations department, you are eager to learn and develop as a project manager. You have experience from similar projects or operations in a technical, commercial or management position. You like to manage people as well as different tasks and your focus is to ensure safety and quality during the projects.

 

 

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

 

You will manage a project team or a dedicated part of the project scope as a Project Manager.  You will ensure that your project is delivered in accordance with Nexans HSE standards, are delivered on time, on budget, within agreed specifications and with the required quality.  In addition, you will be comfortable working in tenders or contribute in other defined management tasks requiring project management approach. You may also participate in developing efficiencies and take part in improvements relevant to our department. You boost your impact by actively promoting Quality and HSE.

 

 

YOUR STARTING POINT

 

• University degree MSc, BSc or equivalent competence
• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry or operational EPCI experience
• In this role the likelihood of succeeding will increase if you have commercial mindset and management skills.
• As we work with complex projects and demanding Clients it is important to understand Contracts and financial risks and opportunities.
• In Nexans we work in teams and are driven by project execution therefore being able to communicate and solving issues are of upmost importance.
• Fluent in English, – oral and written, Norwegian is a plus.
