About the role:
As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll act as the voice of the customer to ensure that our teams continue to deliver more best-in-breed products that advance the way we pay, bank and invest.

You’ll work as part of a team in a scrum setting and must be a self- motivated,  proactive, and out-of-the-box thinker.
 
About the team:
Digital One Consumer Studio is the preferred Consumer Online Banking Platform at FIS. Built on LCD platform, deployed in Openshift, the product has a growing list of clients signing on. We are looking for people to come join us in creating client delight. We need people who are nimble enough to be able to adapt to changing technology, requirements and priorities while ensuring the end user always has the best experience using our product.

What you will be doing:

• Identifying strategies as well as improvement opportunities while also reengineering processes for greater efficiency.

• Selecting hardware, software and vendors.

• Conducting tests to ensure changes made by programmers are correct.

• API Log Research

• Perform independent research and proactively problem solve

What you will need:

• 3-5 recent years of experience working in the financial services industry as a Technical Analyst, Operations Analyst, Programming Analyst and a thorough understanding of end-to-end systems development life cycles.

• 3-5 recent years of experience in a Digital Banking systems environment

• 5 recent years of experience with API Log Research

• 3-5 recent years of experience with SQL or Oracle query

• 2-3 recent years of experience with Splunk and Splunk Dashboards

• Proven skills of troubleshooting

• Previous work experience as an Independent Researcher

• Strong analytical skills 

• Experience interacting with all levels of internal and external clients, from entry level to senior management

• Strong communication ethic with ability to facilitate meetings and presentations 

• A bachelor’s in computer science or information systems or equivalent experience

• Occasional after-hours work is required
