Overview:  

In this role, the Quality Control Lab Manager will be responsible for providing manufacturing support by maintaining on-time product flow through Quality Control processes. The primary responsibility is to provide leadership for all quality control technicians and supporting functions and test methods., Responsible for managing sites ISO Quality system. Develop and drive continuous improvement processes. Develop standardization of QC methods. Develop employee cross-training using various lab equipment, EtQ, SAP, Outlook, Excel, and color software/hardware to verify successful manufacturing of product specifications. This position will report on-site, Monday through Friday, In Northlake, IL.

Essential Job Functions: 

• Plan, organize, and direct department personnel to meet customer expectations
• Lead and develop the quality team. Consistently handle employee labor relations issues such as training, counseling, discipline, and conflict resolution.
• Manage and maintain ISO certification, Lead Management Rep.
• Lead customer site visits and audits.
• Management representative for the site of corporate customers complaint system (ETQ). Lead and perform root cause investigation and corrective action.
• Perform record SAP analysis 
• Acknowledge and process all quality documentation regarding production.
• Display effective training of department personnel in the execution of WI & SOP.
• Maintain department budgets and costs.
• Provide capital equipment justifications for the department.
