We have an exciting remote opportunity for a Manager, Data Security to join our team!
What You Will Do:
You will have the opportunity to directly impact the next generation of P&W digital products and services. Specific focus areas will include responsibility for overseeing and implementing strategies to protect Pratt’s data from unauthorized access, theft, and misuse.
Reporting within the Digital Product Management organization, the successful candidate will be highly collaborative, technically savvy, and passionate about delivering impactful user experiences to customers. The Data Security Manager requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and industry-specific knowledge. Overall, the manager of data security plays a crucial role in safeguarding an organization's data assets and ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Support the Military Engines External Military Portal. This portal is an umbrella software system that supports export tools for communicating with all our engine customers.
Be the project manager for Data Exchange Tools (DET). The project manager oversees the operation of the tools to meet internal and external customer requirements and Global Trade policies.
Support the cloud applications - DataSAFE and JEN Data Exchange Tools. These data transfer tools are used to transfer secure data into and out of Pratt & Whitney and out to all customers and suppliers.
Help with integrating with more electronic systems to provide an automated searchable export log for electronic systems of record and manually recorded export events as well as for manually recorded exports.
Assist ITC with maintaining the current authorization list, the current jurisdictions and classifications, and running investigations for ITC. The Export Aggregator automatically creates export records for everything transferred through the Visitor Log, DataSAFE, JEN and TD360.
Assist in the development of an Interactive Electronic Technical Manual/Publication publishing application that will publish ITAR/EAR data to end users with full Universal Registration access controls and export logging.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing regular updates on project status, key metrics, and strategic initiatives.
Actively participate in Agile / Scrum team meetings
Qualifications You Must Have:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field and 8+ years of experience in information security and/or related technical roles, including experience with network security principles and practices, encryption techniques and cryptographic protocol, security assessment tools and methodologies, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and security information and event management (SIEM) systems; OR an Advanced degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in information security and/or related technical roles, including experience with network security principles and practices, encryption techniques and cryptographic protocol, se
