We're looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you'll partner with employees and leaders across the organization to support the entire employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, performance management, benefits, compliance, and professional development.
This position serves as a trusted resource for employees and leaders while helping foster employee engagement, drive organizational effectiveness, ensure compliance with employment laws, and promote a positive workplace culture.
What You'll Do
Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions and HR-related concerns.
- Partner with HR Business Partners to support employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Assist with workplace investigations involving policy violations, employee concerns, and other HR matters.
- Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Assist with recruiting efforts, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, screening applicants, and preparing offers.
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to create a welcoming employee experience.
- Ensure all pre-employment requirements and onboarding documentation are completed accurately and on time.
Benefits & Leave Administration
- Serve as a resource for employee benefit questions and issue resolution.
- Support annual Open Enrollment activities and benefits communications.
- Assist with administration of leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and other legally protected leaves.
Performance Management & Employee Development
- Support the performance review process and talent development initiatives.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance management best practices.
- Assist with employee development planning and succession planning efforts.
- Ensure performance documentation is complete and consistently administered.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain employee records, HRIS data, organizational charts, policies, and HR documentation.
- Assist with HR reporting, workforce analytics, audits, and compliance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support policy development, implementation, communication, and ongoing updates.
- Prepare HR reports and dashboards that help drive business decisions.
Training & Organizational Development
- Coordinate employee training and professional development programs.
- Support leadership development initiatives and career growth opportunities.
- Track required training completion and maintain accurate training records.
- Assist with succession planning and employee development documentation.
What We're Looking For
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Generalist role.
- Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, benefits, and HR compliance.
