What is The Role

The Legal Operations Specialist will report directly to the Sr. Director of Legal Operations & Chief of Staff. The role will join a Legal Operations & Global Trade Compliance team of three who play a critical role in further enabling the operations of the legal team and strengthening the partnerships between legal and the business. In this role, responsibilities will include a variety of operational activities, which may grow over time, including the implementation and management of a Contract Lifecycle Management tool, identifying and implementing workflows to enable self-service, supporting communications and managing the legal team Wiki and Website, and other department initiatives. This role will aid in further transforming and helping to “run legal like a business,” focusing on process improvement, technology implementation, and operational scalability. What You Will Be Doing

• Drive the implementation, management, and optimization of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), including streamlining workflows, ensuring smooth collaboration between legal, sales, and other departments.
• Continue to develop and improve legal department processes and workflows
• Support various legal operations projects and initiatives
• Collaborate on technology initiatives and evaluate new tools
• Assist with basic trade compliance activities (no prior experience required)

What You Bring

• Proven experience implementing and managing a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system for sales-side agreements.
• Strong understanding of legal technology and operations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• High standards of integrity and confidentiality
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow in the role

Basic Qualifications

• Background in legal technology implementations
• Familiarity with Salesforce
• Understanding of basic legal concepts

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.  

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. 

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.  

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
