Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly detailed, organized, and motivated multitasker to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. This role is not just crucial but integral to managing and supporting the company's hiring needs. If the company reaches its hiring capacity, the secondary role will be to assist in general office administrative duties or, more likely, to assist the estimating department as a Proposal manager. This multifaceted position requires excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude that we highly value, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Talent Acquisition (Primary):
Ø Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent for construction roles, ensuring we attract and retain top-tier talent.
Ø Conduct full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, background checks, reference checks, and hiring candidates.
Ø Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and create compelling job descriptions.
Ø Fully manage job postings and aggressively seek high-caliber candidates, being fully responsible for ensuring their successful hire
Ø Use multiple sources to collect salary data to ensure the offers align with the industry and experience.
Ø Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
Ø Coordinate and participate in job fairs and other recruitment events.
Ø Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
2) Proposal Management (Secondary):
Ø Lead the development and submission of comprehensive proposals.
Ø Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure the accuracy and completeness of proposals.
Ø Write, revise, and edit drafts, including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials.
Ø Develop proposal strategies and narratives in collaboration with senior management.
Ø Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitation documents to understand and respond to A record of implementing innovative recruiting strategies that enhance candidate sourcing and improve recruitment. Requirements.
Ø Conduct competitive and strategic analysis to position the company effectively.
Ø Manage the proposal schedule and ensure all milestones are met.
Ø Organize and lead proposal meetings and follow up with contributors and stakeholders to guarantee timely submissions.
Ø Maintain a library of proposal resources, including templates, graphics, and case studies.
Ø Train and guide a team of proposal contributors from various departments.
Ø Foster a collaborative environment conducive to producing high-quality proposals.
Ø Ensure continuous improvement of proposal processes through feedback and performance evaluations.
3) Office Administration (Tertiary):
Ø Perform general office duties as needed.
Ø Assist with coordinating travel arrangements for team members to ensure minimal costs.
Ø Support the preparation and revision of the employee handbook, SOP, and other documents as needed.
Ø Assist with annual employee benefit renewals
Ø Being proactive in presenting additional benefits the company may offer employees to ensure we are steps ahead of others.
Ø Able to pivot to perform other project tasks.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
Ø Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the construction industry.
Ø High levels of accuracy, efficiency, and multitasking
Ø Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt and respond to challenges in recruitment and staffing.
Ø Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting software, preferably Workable or Greenhouse.
Ø Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ø Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ø Ability to work with minimal direction
Ø Willingness to work overtime and under pressure as needed.
Strong Candidate Preference:
Ø Strong understanding of construction industry roles and requirements.
Ø A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
Ø Certifications such as SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional) or similar credentials emphasize knowledge of best recruitment practices.
Ø Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Ø Strong planning and organizational skills to manage the recruitment lifecycle and ensure a smooth hiring process.
