Role Summary/Purpose:

The SVP HR, Growth and Corporate Affairs will play a leadership role in providing strategic HR business partnership for Corporate Affairs function and key teams within the Growth function including Analytics, Product, Digital, Design & Engagement, Consumer Engagement & Brand, and Go To Market..  This role will play a critical change management role for these business leaders to help them achieve their business priorities . They will act as a strategic partner, diversity champion, change management leader and employee advocate, and together with their business partners, implement programs to positively impact business performance results and drive a high-performance and inclusive culture.

 

In addition,  this role will also lead talent development and career management for the Growth & Corporate Affairs functions.  This person will have a strong focus on building the talent bench strength across Growth including pipeline development and programming to support ongoing development and growth.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR business partnership for the Analytics, Product, Digital, Design & Engagement, Consumer Engagement & Brand and Go To Market teams within Growth as well as the Corporate Affairs function

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, coach and business partner to leadership, helping develop solutions and strategies to achieve business goals by ensuring talent is effectively identified and developed.

  • Partner with Senior Management and people managers to provide strategic direction and delivery related to staffing and retention, succession management, talent development, employee relations, resource planning, compensation and benefits, and performance management.

  • Lead HR programmatic work for the Growth function such as GPTW, BLP, training, etc.

  • Strong focus on building the talent bench strength across Growth, including pipeline development, overall succession planning (OSR) and building rich programming to support ongoing development and growth.

  • Manage employee relations concerns/escalated issues within a client group.  Building relationships of trust with all teams.

  • Monitor adherence to all relevant Human Resource-related policies and practices and drive consistency across the function.

  • Lead a team of two HR Business Partners, providing guidance, leadership and development to the team.

  • Lead other various initiatives or projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of HR or related experience at a management level

  • BA/BS in relevant discipline

  • Training and Development experience (specifically culture and talent development, at all levels)

  • Strong business acumen and HR leadership experience - proven track record of acting as a strategic HR business partner with senior leadership

  • Strong external focus and superior client relationship skills

  • Proven leadership skills – demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team

  • Strong relationship and influencing skills with ability to effectively engage at all levels of the organization and across functions

  • Proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive HR strategic plans

  • Strong leadership coaching and assessment skills

  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills

  • Analytical capability – ability to anticipate business needs and develop HR strategies to meet short and long-term business needs

  • Excellent facilitation, negotiation, employee relations and conflict resolution skills

  • HR expertise – depth in multiple HR disciplines (employee relations, development etc) and proven execution in large and complex organizations

Desired Characteristics:

  • Global HR experience

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business-Related Field

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees, management, and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information wit
