Job Summary
Castalia Systems is seeking a Senior Transportation and Logistic Analyst, AMMO, to support to the government’s all source intelligence analysis of the Defense Resources and Infrastructure Office (DRI). DRI's mission is to catalog and analyze military and civilian infrastructure and defense-related resources that underpin a nation's or group's military capabilities-including transportation, logistics, defense economics, energy systems, arms trade, physical vulnerability to weapon effects, defense industries, and the operational environment-to support U.S. and allied planners, targeteers, warfighters, policymakers, partners, and acquisition officials.
Roles and Responsibilities
A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:
- Conducts all-source analytic production on foreign logistics infrastructure facilities and networks associated with strategic mobility, sustainability, planning, and operations.
- Analytic topics include, but not limited to, roads, rail, inland waterway ports, depots, maintenance facilities and waterways to determine physical characteristics, capacity, and vulnerabilities.
- Publishes vulnerability assessments of worldwide transportation and logistics control and automation systems.
- Conducts analysis of foreign military logistics systems, both conventional and nonconventional, from the command and organization structure, to storage and distribution networks.
- Maintain database records, initiative production, and coordination/collaboration
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience producing all-source intelligence analysis reports and briefings and input to IC databases or 12+ years of experience in all-source analysis in lieu of a degree.
- Knowledge of IC and Combatant Command environments
- Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders, including complex written products and formal or informal briefings
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with transportation and logistics systems, including railroads, roads/highways, bridges, storage facilities, ports, and airfields
- Experience with network development tools and methods
- Knowledge of ICD 203/206 analytic tradecraft standards
- Knowledge of the COMBATANT COMMANDS
