Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst Co-Pilot to join our team as a key member of the Supply Chain Finance department. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial management of our inventory operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, supply chain management, and data analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Finance Manager to develop and implement financial strategies and processes to optimize inventory management, reduce costs, and improve overall financial performance.
- Analyze inventory data, including stock levels, turnover rates, and valuation, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development and maintenance of inventory-related financial models, and forecasts.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting on inventory performance, including variance analysis, cost of goods sold (COGS) and days-on-hand.
- Assist in the preparation of inventory-related financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, and operations, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the inventory management function.
- Work on other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in finance, supply chain finance, or related roles, preferably with a focus on inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial analysis, data modeling, and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent understanding of supply chain principles, inventory control methodologies, and financial concepts (e.g., Working Capital, COGS, inventory valuation).
- Proficient in using financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tools, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and data visualization software.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to drive financial performance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of supply chain management systems
