Cleveland Clinic’s Environmental Services Department is consistently among the highest-performing EVS teams in healthcare, and we’re looking to add an Environmental Services Manager to our team to create the comfortable and safe environment our patients have come to expect.
A caregiver in this position works days, Monday-Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm, with on-call requirements.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Manage the technical and administrative functions of the assigned EVS function.
Implement short- and long-term goals consistent with those of EVS and clinical units.
Manage quality assurance and performance improvement activities within the assigned areas.
Interpret and ensure compliance with all appropriate codes and standards.
Provide direct supervision of assigned EVS team members.
Ensure that all members have a performance management program.
Ensure that policies and procedures are consistently applied throughout the program.
Perform regular evaluation and mentoring of all team members.
Assist with the development and implementation of programs for the professional growth of members in areas of responsibility, both technical and behavioral.
Participate in the development of environmental services operating and capital budgets for areas of responsibility.
Increase efficiency and effectiveness of environmental services activities with a goal of decreasing expenses.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
A high school diploma or GED.
Four years of hospitality or housekeeping experience including two years of management experience. A bachelor’s degree may substitute two years of management experience.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Healthcare experience.
