POSITION PURPOSE:

Perform duties required to inspect work orders, values and kits, sales orders and various parts for correct quantities, damaged packaging and conforming assembly and procedures. Perform necessary record keeping involved with inspection operations and shipping audits.

POSITION SUMMARY AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Interpret drawings for correct PL locations, assembly, labeling and other requirements.
• QC audit customer orders, value add operations, kits, bills of landing.
• Visually inspect parts for acceptable packaging conditions, damaged components and correct information on labels as well as other parts.
• Perform Audits on value add/work order product and sales orders to the specific procedure.
• Audit stock and storage in the warehouse.
• Process control procedure maintenance and upkeep.
• Maintain records and files under control/responsibility of Quality Assurance.
• Other job duties as assigned.

SPECIFIC TYPES OF KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Lifting requirements up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Participate in safety walks and kaizen events.
• Adheres to ISO – 9001 policies and procedures in execution of daily responsibilities.
• High school diploma
• Bilingual: English – Spanish
• 1 Year experience working from inspection logs, customers orders, bill of materials, control drawings, verbal instructions and willing to train. They must fill out inspection forms/records and maintain them until they are turned in monthly.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Employee will be exposed to moderate noise level.  Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.  High forklift traffic.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time, sit, walk, kneel, bend, carry up to 50 lbs. boxes. Lift boxes 50% of the time or more.
