We are Looking for:

A Human Resource Coordinator is to act as a dedicated representative of our HR department. This individual will be responsible for facilitating all HR functions and programs, ensuring the smooth execution of recruitment and benefits-related processes, and fostering positive employee relations. The role also involves providing essential administrative support to the HR function, including tasks such as record-keeping, file maintenance, and coordinating training and development initiatives. Additional responsibilities include generating official documents as needed and performing all duties in accordance with federal and state regulations.

Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, utilizing various sourcing channels such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
  • Proactively source and identify potential candidates through online databases, build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit. 
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and timely recruitment process. 
  • Evaluate training procedures, analyze course effectiveness, and update curriculum as needed.
  • Extend job offers to select candidates and negotiate compensation packages, benefits, and other terms.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of employee benefit programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate the enrollment, termination, and modification processes for various benefit plans.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefit-related inquiries, clarifications, and issue resolution.
  • Recommends next steps required to successfully resolve any identified issues including disciplinary action (as appropriate) in support of investigation findings. 
  • Oversees team member disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Researches and explains laws and legal affairs concerning employment to managers, supervisors, and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with various departments to assess employee needs, gather feedback, and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Conduct surveys, analyze data, and create action plans based on employee feedback to address concerns and improve engagement.
  • Develop and execute employee engagement programs, events, and initiatives to enhance employee morale and motivation.
  • Plan and coordinate team-building activities, workshops, and training sessions to promote a cohesive and collaborative work environment.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performing clerical tasks like copying documents, mailing, scanning, and emailing.
  • Maintaining personnel records in both physical and digital formats, ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
  • Assisting in or preparing requested correspondence.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • May travel to other CLS clinics as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of related experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
