Calibration Technician - Electrical (Tescom)

You’ll work with advanced electrical and RF instrumentation, support a diverse Central Texas customer base, and contribute directly to accreditation scope growth—all in a stable, lab-based environment.</p> <p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">We are committed to finding the right leader for this role and are pleased to offer relocation assistance for qualified candidates.</span></p> <h3>What You’ll Be Doing</h3> <ul> <li>Calibrate and troubleshoot <strong>electrical, electronic, and RF/microwave test equipment</strong></li> <li>Perform work in accordance with <strong>ISO/IEC 17025</strong> and <strong>ANSI/NCSL Z540.3</strong></li> <li>Calibrate and maintain <strong>Fluke multifunction calibrators</strong> and high-precision DMMs (8.5-digit)</li> <li>Perform RF/microwave calibrations (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power meters, frequency counters)</li> <li>Analyze and document <strong>measurement uncertainty</strong> and ensure proper <strong>TUR</strong></li> <li>Develop and review calibration procedures and support scope expansions</li> <li>Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance</li> <li>Maintain accurate records in <strong>IndySoft</strong> and support audits</li> </ul> <h3>Equipment &amp; Disciplines</h3> <p>You’ll work across multiple calibration disciplines, including:</p> <ul> <li>Electrical / electronic &amp; RF microwave instruments</li> <li>Physical &amp; dimensional tools (calipers, micrometers, torque)</li> <li>Pressure, mass, balances, gauges, pH, humidity, and airflow instruments</li> </ul> <h3>What We’re Looking For</h3> <ul> <li><strong>3+ years</strong> of electrical and RF calibration experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 lab</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience with <strong>Fluke 55XX / 57XX</strong> series calibrators</li> <li>RF and microwave calibration experience</li> <li>Proficiency in uncertainty analysis and technical documentation</li> <li>Experience with calibration software (IndySoft preferred)</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail</li> <li>Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or related field (or equival
