A little more about our center:
West Chicago Terrace is an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) with 120 beds, proudly serving the behavioral/psych population. We are in a quiet residential area, across the street from an elementary school and easy to commute to. A few key highlights:
- Highly ranked Quality Measures – this means we provide excellent clinical care!
- The average age of our patients is 35-55 and the most common diagnoses are schizophrenia, bi-polar and major depressive disorders.
- Our residents have created a garden club, a poetry club and are eager to interact with you. Many of them return to the community (or home) after residing with us.
- We welcome new grads and work with students from multiple schools/universities in the area.
- Our nurse orientation program is extensive – let us teach you.
Fortune just voted the suburb of West Chicago as one of the best places to live for families in the U.S.!
- Our team gets excited about casual Fridays and fun events like ‘ugly sweater days’. Come join us.
The National Association of Rehab Providers & Agencies (NARA) awarded Transitional Care Management their “Impact Award” for 2023 for our Life Skills Programming. This center is using that very same “Life Skills Program” and changing lives every day. Ask us about it during your interview – we’d be delighted to share our Social Services success stories. It’s so much more than what your current Psych/Social team is doing now!
