You will work on one of our core SaaS solutions, with service-based architecture that allows us to scale to meet the needs of hundreds of clients. Powered by innovative, patented technologies, Proofpoint has a proven track record of rapid growth, providing enterprise-wide solutions for some of the largest companies in the world.</p><p></p><p>Your day-to-day </p><ul><li>Own and define product requirements and vision, as well as security and cost considerations</li><li>Managing a product backlog, creating user stories and other requirements documentation</li><li>Working with engineering, QA, UX and doc teams to deliver the required solutions on schedule</li><li>Educating the sales, sales engineering, professional services and support organizations on the product as well as provisioning and management best practices</li></ul><p></p><p>What you bring to the team</p><ul><li>Proven product management experience in enterprise software and/or enterprise-focused cloud services</li><li>Experience in managing product functionality through the entire life cycle from initial requirements gathering through to product release and rollout</li><li>Ability to manage complex initiatives with limited supervision</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li><li>Technical skills allowing you to effectively engage in implementation conversations with the engineering team</li><li>Understanding of public cloud infrastructure, encryption standards, search technologies, disaster recovery strategies and/or storage technologies would be a bonus</li><li>Market understanding in messaging would be a bonus</li></ul><p></p><p>Why Proofpoint <br/> </p><p>Protecting people is at the heart of our award-winning cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.  We’re a customer-focused and a driven-to-win organization with leading-edge products.
