Maintenance & Kennel Attendant

<p><strong>Greenwood Lake Animal Hospital is hiring a part-time Maintenance &amp; Kennel Attendant</strong> to provide skilled care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients. Our ideal candidate has experience in animal care, client communication, and veterinary procedures, with a passion for improving the lives of pets and their owners.</p> <p><strong>Salary: </strong>$16.00 - $18.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.</p> <p><strong>Schedule:&nbsp;</strong>This is a part time position .Typical shifts are 4:00 PM–9:00 PM, three days per week, with weekend availability as needed from 1:00 PM–4:00 PM.</p> <p class="PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer" data-start="77" data-end="113"><strong data-start="77" data-end="113">Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul data-start="114" data-end="996" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node=""> <li data-section-id="almsu9" data-start="114" data-end="249">Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the hospital, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and fixture repairs.</li> <li data-section-id="8s7b66" data-start="250" data-end="413">Clean and maintain the facility, including floors, restrooms, equipment, and common areas, using approved cleaning products and safe chemical handling practices.</li> <li data-section-id="aqxt8n" data-start="414" data-end="528">Maintain the hospital grounds, including weeding, watering, snow removal touch-ups, and general exterior upkeep.</li> <li data-section-id="x9m7ax" data-start="529" data-end="612">Complete daily maintenance walkthroughs and identify maintenance or repair needs.</li> <li data-section-id="s6qwo" data-start="613" data-end="716">Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs (HVAC, major building maintenance, etc.).</li> <li data-section-id="ogc66b" data-start="717" data-end="791">Maintain building systems, including heating/cooling and central vacuum.</li> <li data-section-id="7styuk" data-start="792" data-end="897">Monitor non-medical maintenance supplies and notify the Practice Manager of repair or purchasing needs.</li> <li data-section-id="14lax9" data-start="898" data-end="996" data-is-last-node="">Report major repair needs and help ensure the hospital remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Monitor the health and comfort of animals, recognize and respond to emergency si
