Advanced Practice Provider Inpatient Cardiothoracic Surgery

Seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join the inpatient Cardiothoracic Surgery team at UH Parma Medical Center.  1 year APP experience strongly preferred and will consider new grads with cardiothoracic experience.  The schedule is 12 hour Day shifts, rotating weekends/holidays.  Nurse Practitioners must be acute care.  This position does not include OR time.

A Brief Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

Education

• Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required)
• (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)

Work Experience

• 1+ years as an Advanced Practice Provider (Preferred)
