Job Summary:
The Department of Pathology is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Administrative Assistant III to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of HR transactions, onboarding activities, and related personnel processes. Working closely with faculty, staff, and HR Shared Services partners, the Administrative Assistant III will help maintain smooth departmental operations and uphold a high standard of service.
In addition to HR support, the role contributes to broader administrative functions, including event coordination, scheduling assistance, and general office support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional, fast‑paced academic environment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the department’s mission while developing expertise in both administrative and HR‑related functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage the Path HR email inbox and submit tickets for positions, new hires, and other transactions that are timely and accurate
Badging applications, key requests, and access coordination
Day 1 onboarding logistics for new hires
Phone list maintenance and OIT billing review
Email distribution list administration
Planning and coordination of departmental events
Calendar and scheduling support for administrative leadership
Work Location:
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.
