Description
Simpson College seeks qualified candidates for a Head Coach/Director of Esports. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics and will manage all facets of the Esports program. Position is a stipend position and may be included as an additional area of responsibility for existing SC employees.
Principal Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Responsible for the recruitment and retention of qualified students
- Coach and mentor student participants, including monitoring academic progress and program eligibility.
- Cultivate positive relationships with students and their families.
- Oversee stream asset creation and stream maintenance.
- Manage fundraising support for program needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent computer, written, and oral communication skills.
- Prior coaching experience preferred
- Understanding of OBS or software equivalent.
