Head Coach/Director of Esports

Description

Simpson College seeks qualified candidates for a Head Coach/Director of Esports.  This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics and will manage all facets of the Esports program.  Position is a stipend position and may be included as an additional area of responsibility for existing SC employees.

 

Principal Duties will include, but not be limited to:

1. Responsible for the recruitment and retention of qualified students
2. Coach and mentor student participants, including monitoring academic progress and program eligibility. 
3. Cultivate positive relationships with students and their families.
4. Oversee stream asset creation and stream maintenance.
5. Manage fundraising support for program needs. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent computer, written, and oral communication skills.
• Prior coaching experience preferred
• Understanding of OBS or software equivalent.
