Job Summary

Job Description Summary
Responsible for the overall operations to include operating, monitoring, and controlling the status of all power plant systems from the Control Room. Executes plant shut-down and start ups, responds to alarms and equipment issues, coordinates maintenance and work with current plant conditions and commercial commitments. Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure proper functioning of equipment at a Gas Plant for the Gas fleet. Responsible for promoting safe, effective, and reliable operation. The pay range for this role is between $38-$64 hourly, depending upon skills/experience. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus of up to 8%, up to 4% profit sharing, up to 6% dollar-for-dollar match toward your 401k, and medical/dental/vision benefits for the employee and their eligible dependents.

Key Accountabilities:

Inspects, repairs, and maintains various types of plant equipmentMay direct the work of employeesUnderstands and is able to ensure proper operation of the plant.  May be responsible for plant oversight in the absence of managementRepairs and calibrates equipmentTroubleshoots equipment and systemsDevelops and implements plant operating proceduresEnsures strict adherence to safety, health and environmental procedures as they relate to plant operations and maintenance including but not limited to Lockout Tagout, Job Safety Analysis, Confined Space, Hot Work, Electrical Safety and PPEActively trains others in area of expertisePerforms technical work or analysis of processes in areas of expertiseGains knowledge of the entire plant cycle and how it functions

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

Minimum 6 years of related experienceMinimum of a High School diploma or equivalentSatisfactory completion of Tier 3 within primary skill for position job performance measureSatisfactory completion of Tier 2 within another skill area job performance measureDemonstrate effective oral and verbal communications skillsIf applicable, candidate will hold the required level of state license as recognized by the governing body of that particular state (MA, OH)

Key Metrics:
