SUMMARY
The Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner - Global Operations position provides leadership and support to the Global Operations Center of Excellence (COE) through the effective deployment of HR strategy, systems, policies, tools and practices that are aligned with Jabil's strategy and culture. Creates strong business partner relationships and works with enterprise leaders to understand and determine business needs, develop and deliver timely, comprehensive, and innovative solutions in support of Jabil's business & employees. An ideal candidate has the ability to influence and advise based on best practices and strong problem-solving capabilities.
LOCATION
This role will be based on-site at our St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Recruitment and Orientation
Provide recommendations on resource strategies to meet the precise needs of the business.
Provide leadership and direction in implementing said strategies and assist in the recruitment of key personnel.
Work with the Corporate, Regional, and site HR teams to drive effective recruitment policies that assure a robust talent pipeline.
Ensure that appropriate metrics are measured and monitored to identify employee turnover and retention.
Works as an extension of the HR leadership team.
Develops strong relationships and works closely with operations leaders and HR Managers for timely, relevant and value-added delivery of HR service.
Drives consistency of HR practices across the COE and sites, and leverage the sharing of best practices wherever possible
Effectively handles and resolves escalation/hotline cases that are assigned and to provide leadership support in key employee incidents.
Align with Global HR COEs to deploy employee programs (COEs: Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Leadership Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Workforce Planning, Compensation, Benefits, and Mobility.)
Collaborate with Legal, SER, and Corporate Communications, and other functions to help drive employee relations and communication initiatives that foster communication and exchange between management and employees.
Conducts ongoing reviews of Company policies and procedures, and adherence, that relate to our people.
Raises concerns to the Human Resource Leadership Team for visibility.
Collaborates with other HR leaders to assure consistency of overall approach.
Effectively utilizes the current HR Systems (Workday, etc.) to improve HR information sharing and decision making.
Tracks key HR indicators and recommend corrective actions.
Actively supports and participates in HR initiatives and activities where required.
Drives employee engagement efforts, including understanding what motivates our people.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide recommended solutions.
Proven track record in refining and improving HR systems, policies, processes and procedures.
Proven experience in managing HR in a large, multi-national manufacturing services environment preferred.
Ability to create presentations and effectively deliver information, respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
Comfort with use of excel and reporting in Workday.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
A minimum of 12+ years of experience in a Human Resources related role - with 3+ years of experience as a Senior HR Business Partner.
Experience with being in a cross functional/highly matrixed organization.
Manufacturing HR experience preferred.
Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.
