As an Information Technology and Employee Services Specialist, you will have the opportunity to utilize your keen attention to detail, be customer-facing, and partner with team members across various locations while also working on ad hoc special projects. DETAIL-ORIENTED AND AN EFFECTIVE PROBLEM SOLVER. You ensure that nothing falls through the cracks and that all tasks assigned are seen through to completion, while effectively prioritizing multiple competing tasks and deadlines. You approach any office-related issue with the intent to keep everyone in the loop and reach a customer-focused resolution.

VERSATILE AND A TEAM PLAYER. You enjoy variety in your day while also accomplishing daily tasks that are predictable. You enjoy collaborating and interacting with team members and customers day in and day out.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

Within the first 30 days:

- Integrates into Eckroth Music’s culture, history, products offered, and how Eckroth Music differentiates itself from competitors.

- Builds rapport with the Retail Store Managers, Retail Store Sales staff, the Office staff, etc.

- Partners with an experienced team member to learn how to attend to inbound calls, email correspondences, customer and day-to-day nuances, and the processes behind other daily office duties.

- Becomes familiar with information systems and meets with service providers.

- By the 30-day mark, completes all expected daily tasks independently and is familiar with the cadence of weekly and biweekly tasks. 

3 months and ongoing:

- Is 80% independent in the role and is seen as an effective communicator by team members. Completes all expected daily tasks and is familiar with the processes behind non-daily tasks.

- Continues to learn the nuances of needs of stores and POS software. Can work from the knowledge in the first 90 days built upon for this role to reach a resolution when facing an issue or challenge.

- Is beginning to support seasonal special projects as they come up and prioritizes deadlines and schedules for each project assigned.

6 to 12 months and ongoing:

- Is fully proficient in the role, and knows how to complete daily tasks, non-daily tasks, and special projects on one’s own with no assistance from team members or Core Process documents.

- By 12 months is 100% independent in the role and partners with the Accounting/Operations Manager to identify other tasks this role can take on. Proactively brings ideas on how to improve internal processes to achieve more efficiency.

Requirements

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- 2+ years in an office setting or similar environment required 

- 2+ years database SQL experience or related work experience highly preferred   

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology related field required

- Exhibits a passion for music and wants to help children find their passion for music required

- Highly proficient with M365 administration required

- Ability to analyze situations by looking at the big picture and how one thing can directly affect another required
