Senior Accountant IFRS / HGB / EStG (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• As a member of an international and Group-wide ‘Centre of Competence’, you will independently carry out operational and transactional accounting as well as closing for certain Vaillant Group companies
• You will independently assess and post all business transactions in the general ledger and the SAP fixed asset ledger in accordance with IFRS in compliance with the Vaillant Group Accounting Manual and evaluate and balance these in parallel in accordance with the provisions of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and the German Income Tax Act (EStG).
• You prepare the monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, HGB and EStG and report the balance sheet, income statement and notes to the consolidation system (SAP ECCS)
• You will support the development and monitoring of international, cross-company business processes with regard to their efficient and secure accounting in a standardised company-wide SAP system 
• As a record-to-report process expert, you will help us to optimise and implement the new accounting template under SAP S/4 HANA as part of a group-wide digitalisation project
• With your expertise and experience, you will support us in the creation and implementation of guidelines for the Group-wide harmonisation of accounting processes
• You are a competent contact person for our international customers in the local finance departments and our internal and external auditors with regard to accounting and financial statement-related issues
