The Business Manager for the F135 Development Value Stream supports the Engine Core Upgrade (ECU), Component Improvement Program (CIP) and new product introduction accounts for the F135.

The business manager collaborates with the F135 development team including Program Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Contracts, Sustainment, Aftermarket, Engineering and Leadership. They are responsible for the business management monthly process, tracking and reporting. The business manager ensures the value stream maintains a robust and disciplined financial process to ensure accurate sales, cost and risk estimates for the business. The business manager has high visibility as part of the growing military development program office team. The leadership behaviors most important for the role are Business Acumen, Attention to Detail and Collaboration.

What You Will Do

• Lead Development VSL monthly (LE, BE and R/O), annual (AOP), and multi-year (SFP) financial planning and reporting activities
• Coordinate financial plans with VSLs and CAMs to ensure fidelity in estimates
• In-depth actuals analysis (financial and EV) in collaboration with VSL and PP&C
• Track and report IDWAs, POs, Open Commitments and CIE
• Supporting monthly CMS, resource and CAPEX reporting.
• Active member of F135 business council
• Support proposal efforts and basis of effort validation

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience 
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

Qualifications We Prefer

• Demonstrated experience with Full Criteria EVMS
• Accounting or finance experience
• Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills (Complex pivot tables, equations and analysis)
• Experience with the proposal and acquisition process
