Overall Responsibility:

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for managing and processing all accounts payable functions for the organization. This includes the preparation, verification, and processing of invoices, ensuring the accuracy and adherence to the company's policies and procedures. The role also involves maintaining vendor relationships and assisting with month-end closing tasks.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Accurately process accounts payable transactions in a timely manner.
• Review and verify invoices against purchase orders and receipts.
• Resolve discrepancies in invoices and communicate with vendors as necessary.
• Prepare weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including the reconciliation of accounts.
• Monitor and maintain vendor accounts and relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related field.
