About the role

Overview:

The NetSuite CS Operations team is seeking an experienced highly motivated, results-oriented professional to join the NetSuite Professional Services Contracts team as a Senior Contracts Analyst. The team is a dynamic global organization, chartered with providing mission critical support to field sales in all aspects of the sales process including, but not limited to contract reviews, deal structuring, contract research, business approvals, and enablement. The Senior Contracts Analyst serves a key role in the sales cycle – partnering with sales, sales operations, finance and other back-office teams to structure, create, review and approve deals/contracts. This role offers a wide exposure to all aspects and areas of the growing cloud business. 

 

This position is based in the US, preferably in Central, Mountain or Pacific time zones.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review, draft, and process both standard and custom/complex professional services contracts.
  • Develop templates and implement processes for a faster turnaround of consulting engagement documents.
  • Provide countersignature assistance on customer executed PS contracts.
  • Lead key contracts initiatives; provide direction and execute through others
  • Provide mentoring/enablement to junior contract analysts on the team to enhance their skills, capabilities and professional growth
  • Diagnose and resolve escalations, ensuring swift and effective resolutions
  • Execute Contracts team functions including, but not limited to: contract research, deal structuring, business approvals, order requests for varying levels of deal size and complexity.
  • Research and develop alternative contract verbiage within Oracle guidelines to help with negotiations and meet customer requirements.
  • Provide guidance for the Consulting Sales team on deals, sales policies, and pricing/discounting.
  • Build strong partnerships with the Sales teams, Sales & Professional Services Leadership, Finance, and Legal.
  • Manage a high volume of contractual reviews in alignment with priorities communicated by direct leadership.
  • Collaborate and build proactive, positive relationships with peers, managers, professional services sales and operations, shared services, and account teams to ensure consistency within processes, determine best practices, and work efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies. Be a sales advocate & partner to internal organizations to understand complex sales issues.
  • Strive to meet or exceed published service level agreements.
  • Work extended hours for month and quarter-end closings which could fall on a weekend and or holiday.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 8-10 years of professional services/consulting contract drafting and negotiating experience is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to write and understand technical documents.
  • Solid analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong Project Management skills preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a global environment, including willingness to attend meetings outside regular business hours when needed.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and resolve complex problems.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative and commitment

US: Hiring Range: from $28.85 to $60.63 per hour; from $60,000 to $126,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
