Role Overview :

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer on the Top Funnel team, you will be responsible for maintaining the Jimdo.com website, including building new content, pages, reusable components, and maintaining our CI/CD pipeline and its integration with the CDN. You will also be responsible for maintaining our centralized backend application for managing feature flags and the corresponding frontend components. This contributes to the overall user experience, the speed of delivery for individual teams, and the reduction in maintenance costs for our frontend application development.

The team is responsible for the Jimdo.com website, the development and maintenance of our centralized system to manage feature flags, WordPress blogs, the centralized cookie banner, frontend events tracking, and the integration of the affiliation program platform.

What you’ll be doing:

• Create and maintain new Landing Pages and React components.

• Maintain our CI/CD pipelines and CDN.

• Collaborate with different teams to adopt shared frontend libraries across the company.

• Constantly improve the performance of Jimdo.com.

• Maintain our shared cookie banner.

• Create and maintain Unit, Integration, and End-To-End Tests.

• Maintain our centralized backend solution for managing feature flags.

What you bring to the table:

• Strong knowledge of essential HTTP, cookies, and JavaScript.

• Strong experience with the Gatsby framework, Node.js, React, CSS preprocessors, npm packages, and build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.

• Ability to work with a global team in a distributed work environment.

• Experience with building scalable backends and API

• Experience with AWS

• Strong experience in implementing the testing pyramid and The Twelve Factors.

• Experience in coaching junior developers.

• Experience with Kotlin and Python is a strong plus.
