POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager of Financial Systems & Special Projects to join our Finance team. This hands-on ‘jack of all trades’ technical position will be an experienced finance professional who has a deep knowledge of financial systems, SaaS financial operations, and exhibits excellent problem solving and communication skills.
This individual contributor role will be responsible for optimizing our financial systems to drive both operations and reporting efficiencies at scale. M&A is an integral part of Routeware’s growth strategy, and this position will lead financial due diligence and post-closing integration efforts for all M&A transactions. Post-closing integration efforts will span multiple teams and include financial systems / GL integration, CARR / ARR reporting, purchase accounting, ASC 805 valuation reporting, and other integration related initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Streamline, document, and maintain financial systems, operations, and processes that will scale with the Company while addressing risk
- Lead and project manage M&A financial due diligence and integration efforts
- Partner with Accounting leadership on transfer pricing and other tax initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal, RevOps, and revenue accounting to drive efficiency in our order to cash process
- Partner with Accounting and Finance leadership on CARR / ARR / commission reporting and reconciliation to GAAP revenue and commission expense
- Lead data initiative and reporting strategy to utilize Snowflake as a single source of truth for reporting financial and operational metrics to the business
- Act as a thought partner to the business and executive leadership by identifying process and operational efficiencies that help drive enterprise value
- Ad hoc projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience within a high growth SaaS environment
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP & Financial operations spanning order to cash, corporate accounting, tax, M&A, and FP&A
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and competing deadlines
