Job Summary
This position provides an opportunity to build a career within an exciting market of the insurance industry. The Director of GSI Operations is responsible for all administrative functions of the GSI business. This role will establish technology, processes and staffing to profitably build the GSI business line. This position will build relationships with our insurance professional partners and, when required at the partners’ request, build direct relationships with plan sponsors. This role will be integral to the overall management of a book of business, managing opportunities from implementation to paid premium. The position demands a high level of resourcefulness, effective communication, adaptability, and requires critical thinking and problem-solving to drive results and meet the goals of the overall organization.
Responsibilities
- Build and continually improve processes working with the assistance of resources in Operations, and Sales, including:
- Quoting calculators and proposal formats
- Plan Enrollment / Onboarding of new plans
- Policy Issuance Audit
- Policy Cancellations
- Policy Ports
- Plan Re-enrollment
- Manage a small team of case designer and case managers.
- Understand and leverage Exceptional Risk Advisors’ enrollment capabilities, services and tools
- Proactively manage communication with the goal of improving enrollment and re-enrollment effectiveness
- Technology and Technology Development
- Actively engages with assigned advisors to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with underwriters, advisors, and clients to gather required information and facilitate communication.
- Knowledge of carrier practices, policy contracts and provisions.
- Must be familiar with new business processes and various state requirements.
Requirements
- Strong growth and business development orientation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Strong technical aptitude – ability to utilize and leverage technology and systems
- Strong organization skills/ability to manage multiple demands and priorities
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

- Outgoing, excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Ability to work/partner with a close team
- Results oriented
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of related industry experience
Pay Details:
The base compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $160,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
