Palliative Care Physician

The Staff Physician provides direct patient care in an effort to ensure that patient health care needs are met at all times, as well as deliver an extra layer of support to patients with serious and/or terminal illness.
Candidates must be fellowship trained and/or board certified or eligible through primary specialty. 

Highlights of the Opportunity:

- Well established inpatient acute care program with a full Interdisciplinary team with 4 Advance Practice Nurses, 1 Social Worker, 1 Chaplain, 1 RN and Manager

- Strong administrative support of program

- Growing Pediatric Palliative Inpatient Program with 1 Advance Practice Nurse

-Provides medical leadership to maintain and improve the Palliative program and acts as an advocate by providing needed communication with other staff physicians and physician extenders through personal conferences, in services, new services and education to physicians

- Assist with Palliative Care consults in both the adult, pediatric and neonatal population. Works with the interdisciplinary team and provides needed guidance and education and Inservice.
