Team / division overview

DWS’ alternatives business has been investing in the asset class for more than 50 years. Role Details

As a team assistant, you will:

  • Support the Head of Alternatives, the Strategy and Business Development team, and Head of Alternatives Specialists in scheduling appointments, daily schedule management, managing expenses, managing travel and other key administrative tasks

  • Support scheduling and coordinating meetings, including booking conference rooms, catering, and A/V support

  • Assist in document preparation for meetings including circulating agendas and preparing printouts

  • Assist in ordering items for the team, such as office supplies

We are looking for 

  • At least 5 years of previous experience as an administrative/team assistant supporting senior management

  • Highly motivated individual, who would be flexible in dealing with changes

  • Previous experience working in a large financial services company is a plus, but not a requirement

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and works effectively with others

  • Knowledge of Power Point, Word, Adobe and Excel are required

  • Willingness to collaborate, learn, and keep up with new technology developments to support communications through different media channels

The salary range for this position in New York City/California is $46,500 to $90,000.  Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education and other qualifications.  Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
