What You Will Do
The Aftermarket Systems Engineering team is looking for an Aftermarket Analytics Principal Engineer who will focus on creating engineering-enabled digital tools on the Fleetwise platform to be used in optimizing workflows and support decision making across the CE Engine Design & Systems Integration and CE Aftermarket organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of a product development backlog
- Development of digital tools & analytics that enable smart engine work scoping
- Enabling the automation of engineering processes that feed the Next Generation Interval Cost Estimator (NGICE) tool
- Support Fleetwise app migration into Xeta Cloud
- Engage in process changes through CORE and the leadership operating model
- Ability to travel up to 10% mostly to our P&W East Hartford site
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- 8 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced Degree and 5 years’ experience.
- Proficiency with Python
- U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership and self-direction. Willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- The candidate should have an understanding and/or eagerness to learn with respect to other engine systems including mechanical, vibration dynamics, externals, and controls.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL
- Experience working in an Agile framework
