We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Senior Engineer-Water Infrastructure to join our dynamic Water Infrastructure Team in Reno, Nevada.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Plans, schedules, coordinates and conducts detailed phases of engineering work in parts of major projects.

• Performs preliminary engineering design and/or reviews the design and drafting work of junior engineers, designers and drafters.  

• Prepares cost and man-hour estimates, project budgets and schedules.

• Prepares or oversees the preparation of final plans and reports and submits them for approval.

• Conducts or oversees personnel involved in engineering investigations and planning work.

• Coordinates with, directs and guides and/or reviews the work of junior professionals, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments, within and outside own discipline(s).

• Plans, schedules, coordinates and conducts construction services on projects.

• May occasionally assist in the management of projects.

• May perform other duties as the supervisor may require.

• Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials or procedures, or difficult coordination requirements.

What will you contribute?

The candidate will be instrumental in assisting in a variety of water and wastewater projects and must possess the following:

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering. This level may be achieved by Engineers who compensate for lack of P.E. through 10 or more years of experience since Bachelor's degree.
• Good technical writing and communications skills. May be eligible to receive project management training.
