The Opportunity: 
Are you excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by quantum information science? Are you fascinated by the possibilities presented by quantum computing and sensing advances? We have an opportunity for you to use your analytical and experimental skills to improve quantum computing, communications, and sensing capabilities for the DoD. 

  

You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide direct quantum support. You’ll mentor and learn from teammates, shape research directions both with clients and through internal investments. Join us as we advance the state-of-the-art of quantum information science.

You Have: 

• Experience with studying quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking

• Experience with performing quantum research and leading teams of researchers

• Experience with leading the development of technology business plans and roadmaps, building and managing teams of scientists and engineers to execute against business plans, and managing associated resources, such as hardware, or infrastructure

• Experience with handling large data sets, including data collection, manipulation, analysis, and interpretation 

• Knowledge of physics-based modeling and simulation software and tools

• Ability to convey complex concepts to a diverse audience either written or verbally 

• Ability to work collaboratively in a manner that leverages diverse backgrounds and expertise 

• Ability to obtain a security clearance 

• Master's degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Material Sciences

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience working in an Agile environment

• Experience with software development

• Experience with python, C++, version control, and containerization

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Doctorate degree in Physics, Mathematics, Materials Sciences, or related technical field
