Job Description

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Belle Glade, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control as needed. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to cover assigned areas and respond to calls for service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and the perimeter, as permitted by site policy.
  • Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests and deliveries according to site procedures.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other systems when assigned, and communicate unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift summaries with clear, accurate details.
  • Perform interior and exterior checks for abnormal conditions such as open doors, damaged fencing, unauthorized persons, or suspicious items, and report findings per post orders.
  • Provide directions and assistance to employees, contractors, and visitors while supporting a professional, service-oriented presence.
  • Coordinate with site management, dispatch, and emergency services as needed, following established communication and escalation protocols.
  • Support loss prevention and protection of property by maintaining a visible presence and reporting policy violations and/or hazards according to site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • - Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • - Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • - A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • - Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • - Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • - A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
