About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Customer Support Billing Specialist to join us on our journey to facilitate a digital revolution in the B2B supply chain.

The Customer Support Billing Specialist is responsible for proactively identifying and resolving various billing issues related to dispatch, auditing, communication, and payment processes. This role involves collaboration with multiple teams, including OMMA Billing, 5F billing, and Dispatch, to ensure the smooth flow of operations and timely resolution of billing discrepancies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering accurate and efficient solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor loads logged by dispatch and confirm all loads have a billing number. Communicate with Dispatch, Ops Billing, and NADM Supervisors when there are issues creating billing numbers for loads.
• Receive billing inquiries from drivers and carriers and double-check their validity. Log valid billing issues and communicate them through the proper channels to ensure speedy resolution.
• Maintain communication with drivers/carriers on the current status of their billing inquiries, along with an expected timeframe of resolution. If Ops Billing requires more information or photos of tickets to proceed with billing resolution, contact drivers/carriers to obtain the information needed.
• Audit billing spreadsheets daily for major discrepancies or errors that may indicate incorrect payments, working to resolve those discrepancies so correct payment is not delayed.
• Engage in weekly meetings to discuss recent patterns and trends with regard to billing issues, and brainstorm on possible solutions to decrease the frequency of those issues.
• Report aging issues that are still awaiting resolution to supervisors, in order to prevent further delay.
• Assist the Ops Billing department with occasional projects regarding billing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bilingual, Spanish/English
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in all projects and an ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as necessary
• Ability to multi-task projects and required tasks in an organized fashion
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as self-motivated in individual projects
• Ability to communicate both verbally and written to all levels of the organization

Educational/Experience Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) proficiency
• Google Suite (Gmail, Slack)
• Accounts Payable experience preferred

Compensation: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
