About the Job:

The Customer Marketing Project Manager is responsible for driving the innovation and prioritization of Taco Bell’s Customer Data & Analytics roadmap to achieve defined business and customer outcomes. They play an important role in owning the operations management of the Customer Marketing Technology and CRM Initiatives, connecting the dots across teams, and helping them work together to build a single, efficient, agile operation.

With this role, the opportunities are endless: Work collaboratively across marketing, business intelligence, technology, and Yum! Brands to identify feasible, viable, and impactful opportunities and develop a roadmap aligned to greatest business needs. This role will report to the Sr Manager, Customer Data and Marketing Technology Strategy.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Acts as the single point of contact for intake and communication of project status to stakeholders and key project participants
  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget, including the project planning of tasks and team schedules, and project complexities over time
  • Manage the process for project prioritization – balancing the business impact in terms of critical business needs, level of effort, and resource constraints
  • Lead initiative discovery, understanding problems to solve or gaps, process improvement optimizations, and defining new capabilities to add to the product backlog to deliver against squad OKRs through agile methodology
  • Develop a roadmap aligned with business needs and technical capabilities
  • Work closely with solution architects, development, and execution teams to understand the technology enablers/constraints for new product ideas; finalize product requirements to include business and technical goals and constraints
  • Manage stakeholder collaboration and communications; Create presentations and reports to communicate project status
  • Build cross-functional partnerships to ensure that projects align with evolving organizational standards for architecture, security, and portfolio standards/methodologies

Is This You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or technology related discipline, or equivalent years of experience.
  • 4+ years of experience ranging from the technical program/project management or agile scrum master to building and executing a strategic roadmap.
  • Proficiency with JIRA/Confluence, and agile methodologies/scrum ceremonies, and PMP certification is preferred
  • Proven ability to lead a combination of direct and virtual team members in a collaborative environment with demonstrated ability to manage vendors and build strategic partnerships
  • Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder communications and involvement as well as run product team meetings  
  • Able to think, plan, and execute resourcefully across multiple projects, priorities, and teams.
