How You Will Make an Impact:

Leadership Functions (Responsibilities):

  • Enterprise Leadership & PMO Development: Establish, lead, and continuously improve a PMO framework that standardizes methodologies, reporting, and resource management across the enterprise. Define project governance, performance metrics, and prioritization processes aligned to business strategy. Serve as a senior advisor to executives on project portfolio health, risk mitigation, and strategic decision-making.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development: Manage, coach, and mentor project leaders and cross-functional PM staff; build a bench of high-performing talent. Set and evaluate performance goals that emphasize accountability, and ownership, and enterprise contribution. Communicate organizational priorities and align team goals with broader objectives. Oversee hiring, evaluations, and professional development.

  • Strategic Oversight & Communication: Lead with vision, influence, and transparency across all sites and functions, ensuring project priorities align with organizational strategy and financial objectives. Synthesize project performance insights into executive-level reports and dashboards for the leadership team. Oversee change management initiatives that support scalability, cross-site collaboration, and process maturity.,

  • Organizational Impact & Continuous Improvement: Drive the adoption of project management best practices, tools, systems, and metrics to enhance transparency, predictability, and delivery outcomes. Partner with Finance, Operations, and Business Development to forecast revenue, optimize capacity, and balance strategic and operational priorities. Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across the PM organization.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

  • Program Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of internal and client-facing programs, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives and resource optimization. Facilitate portfolio reviews, prioritize high-impact initiatives, and ensure effective sequencing of projects across departments.
  • Governance & Methodology: Develop and maintain enterprise project lifecycle standards, templates, and KPIs. Lead the implementation of digital tools for scheduling, resource tracking, risk management, and executive reporting.
  • Project Execution & Delivery: Coordinate resources and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Track performance using established tools, escalate issues as needed, and manage project closeout activities including lessons learned.
  • Planning & Resource Management: Define project scope and objectives, assist in prioritization, and conduct resource planning meetings. Develop resource allocation strategies through cross-departmental coordination.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and partners. Ensure transparent communication of project performance, risks, and escalations at all organizational levels.
  • Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, implement best practices across sites, and support creation of standard deliverables such as risk plans, schedules, and budget frameworks.
  • Risk, Change & Quality Management: Anticipate organizational and technical risks across programs, implementing proactive mitigation and escalation mechanisms related to scope, schedule, and costs. Drive structured change management processes to ensure alignment and minimal disruption during transitions.
  • Cultural Alignment: Model and reinforce the company’s cultural values in all interactions, contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace environment.

What You Will Bring to the Role:

Education:

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor’s in mechanical or chemical engineering, science or related field
