About this roll* (Responsibilities)  

  • Manage a team of product managers who partner with our business and engineering leaders in delivering Toast’s vision from a hardware standpoint
  • Work closely with our business teams in strategizing, planning, designing and building optimal solutions for our systems and applications
  • As an expert in warehousing, inventory control and fulfillment logistics, you will set the path forward with solutions that are simple and scalable
  • Have end to end ownership / accountability for hardware operations products within our enterprise application ecosystem
  • Lead the vision, product strategy and develop insights and recommendations for the hardware systems team
  • Work with a group of cross-functional business stakeholders to understand their goals and operational requirements and enable your team to support them
  • Develop metrics and regularly report out on product and program status to a group of senior level stakeholders
  • Partner with business / technology stakeholders to drive requirements / business process design / functional implementation of technology helping move from current state to the desired future state post implementation
  • Responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing world-class talent 
  • Provide subject matter expertise to the internal operations and data teams on how different pieces of information are collected and used 

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements) 

  • 12+ years of product management experience (including some years at a director or leadership level) with successive growth in responsibilities along with experience in managing product managers and a portfolio of products in supply chain management, fulfillment or warehouse operations
  • Experience in rolling out systems to support 3PL for reverse and forward logistics
  • Experience in implementing and managing a warehouse management systems (QSSI preferred)
  • Highly proficient in Hardware procurement, demand planning and the Order-to-Fulfill business processes
  • A track record of success (and enjoyment) in people leadership, building high-performing product management teams, and developing exceptional talent
  • Proven experience in bridging the technical and business sides of projects, including the desire to lead through collaboration
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce) and ERP platforms such as Netsuite preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in improving processes to drive efficiency 
  • Experience in managing programs from conception to delivery 
  • Strong working knowledge of the overlap between operations and systems

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.Pay Range$183,000—$293,000 USD
