The Quality Associate III will manage the coordination of activities to provide support for biological, chemical, and physical analyses of pharmaceutical products (biologics and drugs) through all stages of the manufacturing process, from incoming raw materials to finished goods and environmental monitoring programs. This role is responsible for results in terms of product quality and conformance to regulations and Baxter quality policies.
The candidate must not be allergic to Penicillin, Cephalosporins, or their related products and/or materials.
What you'll be doing
- Implements Quality Systems procedures in the department and manages compliance.
- Manages qualification/validation activities for laboratory equipment and computer systems.
- May participate in or handle quality assessments of internal operations and suppliers to analyze compliance and assess risk.
- Identifies and runsmanages continuous improvement projects with the objective of achieving quality, reliability and cost improvements.
- Participates in the coaching, training and development of department staff.
- Devises new approaches to complex problems through adaptations and modifications of standard technical principles.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable procedures, specifications, regulations and standards, as well as a solid understanding of theories/practices utilized by other disciplines outside primary area of expertise.
- In depth knowledge of the regulatory environment for the manufacture and development of medical products.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's in Science or engineering
- 5 years in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage/supervise work teams.
- Ability to engage management and other functions to influence decisions on courses of action.
- Must be able to provide solutions that reflect understanding business objectives, cost implications, and engineering challenges.
- Must have excellent project management skills and the ability to influence others.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000 - $121,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
