Market Director of Quality and Risk Management Job Summary:

Here at BridgePoint Healthcare the Market Director of Quality and Risk Management assists the CFO in the management of the fiscal services department, including the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of the hospital’s policies on finance, accounting, insurance, financial/accounting systems, internal controls, and auditing. The Market Director of Quality and Risk Management maintains departmental reports and records and collects statistical data for administrative and regulatory purposes. The Market Director of Quality and Risk Management coordinates the functions of reimbursements, budget, patient accounting, medical records, admissions and general accounting, which includes general ledger accounting, accounts payable, payroll and cashiering. The Market Director of Quality and Risk Management prepares report outlining hospital’s financial position in all areas of assets, liabilities, income and expense, based on past, present, and planned future operations.

Education: HS Diploma required.  Experience in Quality/Risk Management in an acute care setting or long-term acute care setting.  Related experience (4 years) may be substituted for degree.  BS/Master of Nursing, Business, or Hospital Administration preferred.

Licenses/Certification: CPHQ or ASQ certification preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years of Quality, Case and Risk Management progressive acute care experience.  Requires demonstrated expertise in QM methods, measurement definition and analysis, team facilitation and project management.  Knowledge of Accreditation standards required.
