Sr Accountant

Overview

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow. 

 

GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.

Major Position Responsibilities

• Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger
• accounts to the general ledger.
• Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
• Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.

Basic Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance & 5-7 years relevent experience required. 
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

 

Manager Specific Requests

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
• Must possess good analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
