In this role, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating a team of engineers and their activities.<br/><b>You will be </b><b>based in Karlstad (Sweden).</b></p><p></p><p><span><b>Your responsibilities</b></span></p><ul><li>Coordinate and direct engineering projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.</li><li>Resolve product issues related to design or production needs, ensuring timely and effective solutions. Contribute with deep knowledge in cooking processes and operations in challenging projects.</li><li>Build and lead a global virtual team of specialized resources, and mentor and coach junior and mid-level process engineers and specialists to develop into senior-level contributors capable of supporting similar complex projects.</li><li>Liaise with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss engineering specifications and procedures. Provide support for production technologies in various locations, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to standards.</li><li>Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of engineering requirements and manage the workflow of the engineering department and subcontractors.</li><li>Generate and support technology and operational standards, ensuring effective communication between locations.</li><li>Support and collaborate with Product Management and R&amp;D in the development of new products and process improvements, including feasibility studies.</li><li>Actively challenge ideas and the status quo with respect to technology, manufacturing, and process capabilities.</li></ul><p></p><p><span><b>Who is the candidate we are looking for</b></span></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.</span></li><li><span>Strong technical background and understanding of Cooking processes.</span></li><li><span>Strong organizational and project management abilities.</span></li><li><span>Strong leadership and team management skills.</span></li><li><span>Commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.</span></li><li><span>Excellent proficiency in English and Swedish, Finnish and Portuguese are beneficial.</span></li><li><span>Willingness to travel as required.</span></li></ul><p><br/><span><b>We offer</b></span><br/><span>We offer a collaborative and dynamic work environment with meaningful projects that support industrial efficiency.
