Human Resource Generalist

Job Title: Human Resource Generalist (Entry-Level)Location: Columbia, MD (Hybrid - 1-2 days per week remote)Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 per annum
Job Summary: The Human Resource Generalist will play a key role in all areas of HR including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. This is an ideal position for someone with 1-3 years of HR experience, looking to grow their skills in a supportive and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:Assist in the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting screening interviews, and coordinating hiring efforts with managers.Support the HR department in implementing policies and procedures.Manage employee records and data in the HR information system ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Participate in employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to recruitment and employee relations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus.Ability to handle data with confidentiality.Well-organized with excellent time management skills.
