• As a Database Consultant, you will support product development and database use.
• Your tasks will include the development of database queries for statistical evaluations and the planning and configuration of distributed databases with automatic synchronization.
• You will support the administration of distributed databases with automatic synchronization.
• You will create scripts to control the automated processes.
• You will advise and support our customers with requirements and error analysis as well as problem solving.

Qualifications

• You have at least 5 years of experience in software development and maintenance.
• You have skills in requirements analysis, feature development, technical documentation, application support and operational support.
• You have profound knowledge of Oracle database administration and PL/SQL development.
• You have experience with the use of database replication tools (preferably SymmetricDS).
• You have an understanding of the use of Docker technology (Docker CE) for deployment and operation of applications.
• You have user experience with scripting languages (bash, PowerShell) under Linux or Windows.
• You have experience with JIRA and other PM tools.
• Previous experience in the public sector is desirable.
• You are fluent in German and English.
