The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software design and architecture, with a thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle. Experience with automotive coding standards is a plus but not required.</p> <p><strong>How you will leave your footprint</strong></p> <ul> <li>Developing and maintaining software solutions primarily in C++, with additional tasks in Python.</li> <li>Design, implement, and optimize software following best practices in software architecture and design.</li> <li>Collaboration with the development team to integrate software components and ensure a smooth CI pipeline using Git, Bazel, and other tools.</li> <li>Participation in code reviews and ensuring the quality of the codebase through rigorous testing and adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.</li> <li>Debug, optimize, and improve existing software solutions to meet performance and reliability goals.</li> <li>Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. </li> </ul> <p><strong>What you will bring to the team</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong> Strong proficiency in C++</strong> and <strong>good working knowledge of Python</strong>.</li> <li>Familiarity with version control systems, particularly <strong>Git</strong>, and build tools such as <strong>Bazel</strong>.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>CI pipelines</strong> and automated testing frameworks.</li> <li>Solid understanding of <strong>software design principles and architecture</strong>.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with the <strong>software development lifecycle (SDLC)</strong>.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice - to - have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with <strong>automotive coding standards</strong> (e.g., MISRA) and familiarity with <strong>functional safety</strong> requirements.</li> <li><strong> Robotics experience</strong> in the domain of <strong>safe perception</strong> using classical machine vision techniques, with <strong>LiDAR and/or Radar</strong>.</li> <li>Experience with the <strong>safety certification</strong> of perception-based robotics or automotive products and familiarity with relevant standards.</li> <li>Knowledge of <strong>design patterns, algorithms, geometry, and linear algebra</strong>.</li> <li>Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems development.</li> <li>Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.</li> <li>Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java or MATLAB/Simulink is a plus.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer @ FERNRIDE</strong></p> <p>At FERNRIDE, we believe in empowering you to thrive both personally and professionally.
