About the role

Context

The Product Owner works with a stakeholder network and one or two team(s) on a range of infrastructure products and platforms (on-premise/cloud) used for the Product Software Development Environments.
Manages key stakeholders on agile release train level and line management level; typical stakeholders at PL/GL level, other PO's and the 'Leading Coalition' (Release Train Engineer, Chief Product Owner, System Architect).
Tactical/mid term (1-3 Program Increments) focus on product eco-system to enable the team to maximize value delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree with substantial experience in engineering or IT
  • Comprehensive experience as Product Owner and working at tactical level
  • Understands the business context, ownership, Minimal Viable Product thinking, and long term planning
  • Good infrastructure product/domain knowledge
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of complex software development processes

Responsibilities

Vision and Roadmap

Creates long term vision and roadmap, translating stakeholder and team needs into PI objectives and Iteration goals.

Stakeholder Management

Effectively communicates with stakeholders on their needs and concerns. Aligns with stakeholders on vision, content and prioritization. Maintains a trusted partnership with the team and key stakeholders in the train. Starts building effective negotiation and influencing skiils.

Healthy Backlog Management

Keeps an economic view on the long term team backlog to meet objectives. Challenges guardrails, while balancing high impact, early feedback and low cost over time. Is comfortable in either the business or the technical domain. Can motivate the team to refine internal and external demand and to pull work from the backlog.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
