Production Technician II & Signal Intelligence/Electronic Intelligence (SIGINT/ELINT)

Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical/electrical assembly from engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and other production documentation
- Ability to interpret and work from drawings, manuals, handbooks and technical specifications
- Experience with circuits and wiring assemblies and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently
- Perform simple tests such as continuity checks
- Install and Integrate wiring, and termination in accordance with system requirements
- Ability to terminate various coaxial, circular, and D-type connectors
- Have good hand eye coordination and be able to use a variety of standard hand tools including crimpers and soldering irons
- Inspect assembly work for self and other team members per appropriate standards
- Work with engineers to identify issues with new products and improve them.
- Knowledge of proper ESD controls
- Must be detail and quality oriented
Must-haves:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
- A higher level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Basic understanding of technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications and manufacturing principles
- Experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment
- Prior experience with electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
- Basic skills in assembly, soldering, and connectors
Preferred:
- IPC J-STD-001 and 620 certifications
- Computer literate with experience in Windows and Office products
- Electronic component identification knowledge
- Experience with PPE (personal protection equipment)
- Able to work in an organized, clean work environment to 5S standards
- Military electronic assembly background
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
