About the role

Job Title: Senior Director, Business Operations

 

Job Summary:

The Senior Director of Business Operations is responsible for driving operational excellence with a number of organization functions including project financial management responsibilities, revenue forecasting and resource and subcontractor supply/demand forecasting.  This role will drive these key functions across a variety of cross-functional teams including CS4I operations and delivery and OHGS operations and delivery. The role will also align operational processes with business objectives and partner with executive leadership to define and execute business strategy, improve process efficiency, support decision-making with insights and analytics, and ensure compliance with corporate standards.

This specific position will manage business operations in support of our Consulting Federal market. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire a team of business operations managers and analysts, providing mentorship and direction.

Develop and lead operational planning and forecasting processes and modeling.

Lead and coordinate critical cross-functional operational activities across multiple groups including matrixed delivery and Operations teams along with Finance.  

Identify, scope, and implement process improvements that drive productivity, scale, and cost efficiency.

Partner with executive and functional leaders (e.g., Resource Management Operations, Delivery, Finance, GTM and HR) to develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies.

Ensure alignment with compliance, security, and risk management requirements.

Communicate operational priorities, progress, and results to executive leadership.

Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer focus.

Success in this role means driving results, attainment of Professional Service financial and operational KPIs, leading to operational excellence and overall team development and advancement.

The role has operations responsibility for over $1B of revenue annually.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

10+ years of experience in business operations, including 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably in a large enterprise or technology company.

Strong track record in operational strategy, change management, and process improvement.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Data-driven approach with experience in metrics/KPI development and analysis.

Proven ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional teams within a matrixed organization structure.

High level of integrity and commitment to compliance, security, and privacy standards.

Federal market experience strongly preferred.
